What are travel restrictions for a 18 year old?

I am 18 years old and this summer i want to travel to California. Are there are restrictions for flights, hotels, etc for an 18 year old?

As far as I know, the only thing you can't do is drink (duh) and rent a car.
You are good to go as far as all other things, I believe.
